Granite carved memorial
Cunningham Stone Limited was deeply honoured to be entrusted with the creation of a memorial stone for a beloved neighbour, crafted at the request of a family member. This individual, Olivia, had a profound passion for her stunning garden, a vibrant space that she lovingly tended to with meticulous care. To honour her memory and celebrate her love for gardening, we designed a memorial stone featuring a beautifully carved gardening trowel, symbolising her dedication to nurturing her plants and creating a haven of natural beauty.
At Cunningham Stone, we believe that every project, whether a grand commercial endeavour in the heart of central London or a heartfelt memorial stone for a cherished neighbour, deserves the same meticulous attention and careful planning. The memorial stone for Olivia was entirely handmade by one of our exceptionally skilled carvers, a true artisan whose talent we are privileged to have within our team. The process began with the thoughtful design of the memorial stone, ensuring it captured Olivia’s spirit and connection to her garden. We then sourced high-quality granite, which was transformed in our carving workshop into a fitting tribute that reflects her passion.
After the hand-carving was complete, our team ensured the stone was delivered and fitted with care in Saintfield, where it would stand as a lasting tribute to her memory.
