Cunningham Stone contributed to the design and build of a 5,000 m² Centre of Excellence for the Fetal Medicine Foundation at Harley Street, operated by King’s College Hospital. The project redeveloped Nos. 16–20 Windsor Walk, a row of run-down terraced houses, carefully retaining and refurbishing the front façades to respect the area’s conservation principles.
The new four-storey building provides state-of-the-art lecture theatres, laboratories, consulting and treatment rooms, and management facilities, creating a high-quality environment for world-leading clinical care and research. The retained terraces now form the south elevation, seamlessly blending historical character with modern medical and research facilities.
