Cunningham Stone contributed to the sensitive and sustainable redevelopment of a historic site in Borough, creating a 99-bedroom hotel, two retail units, a gym, and refurbishing the adjacent listed building. The project featured two types of brick laid in varied bonds and coursing—including cream stack, hanging brick in soldier course, and specially cut bricks for non-standard corners—resulting in a stepped façade that gives the impression of four distinct, carefully crafted buildings.
