St. Marks Parish Church

Cunningham Stone Limited

St. Mark’s Parish Church in Newtownards, consecrated in 1851, is a Gothic Revival landmark with strong ties to its local Anglican community. Cunningham Stone was proud to undertake sensitive restoration works, carefully sourcing Indian Mint Sandstone to closely match the original locally quarried stone. Manufactured at our Saintfield facility and installed using traditional lime mortar repointing, the project preserves the church’s historic character while ensuring its long-term durability for future generations.
